Is Pith free?
Yes — saving sources, the auto-built cited wiki, clients & engagements, search, and MCP access for your own AI agents are free, forever, with 200 ingested sources per month included. You pay only when Pith produces a deliverable for you.
What does a deliverable cost?
Fixed prices from a short menu: a cited meeting briefing from your client corpus is €2, a research dossier over your corpus plus the web is €5, your week's reading as a cited audio briefing is €3. The price is shown on the button before you click — you're never charged more.
Why is there no subscription?
Because you shouldn't rent access to your own knowledge. Your reading memory stays free and stays yours; Pith charges for work it performs on it, like any other supplier on an engagement. There is nothing to cancel, ever.
What happens if a deliverable fails?
It costs nothing. Failed jobs are refunded automatically — you only ever pay for work that was delivered.
Can I pass the costs on to my clients?
Yes — every purchase is attributed to a client or engagement, and a monthly statement (CSV export) groups your spend per engagement so you can attach it to your own invoice. Your tax document is the purchase invoice.
What happens beyond the 200 free sources per month?
Additional sources cost a few cents each (cost recovery, not margin). You're told before the first over-quota charge — nothing is ever silently blocked or silently charged.
Where is my data stored?
Frankfurt, Hetzner. EU-only data residency. Per-workspace Postgres database. Export anytime as SQL or markdown.
