Back to glossary

A client briefing is a per-account digest prepared in advance of a meeting with that client, distilling recent reading, news, and internal notes into the points relevant for the conversation.

Why it matters

Account managers and consultants prepare briefings continuously, usually manually. The work is high-leverage (a five-minute briefing can change a meeting's outcome) but tedious enough that it's frequently skipped. Automation tools that produce a credible briefing in 30 seconds change the calculus.

How Pith relates

Pith generates client briefings on demand from the bookmarks tagged to that client. Text + audio. 60-second turnaround. See the auto-tag-clients feature for how bookmarks get to the right client.
