The Founding Practice deal — fifty firms, locked for life.

Update (August 2026): This offer is closed — and so is the pricing model it belonged to. Pith no longer sells seat subscriptions at all. Saving what you read is free (bookmarks, the auto-built cited wiki, clients, search, MCP access, 200 sources/month), and you pay per deliverable: a cited meeting briefing from your vetted client corpus (€2), a research dossier over your corpus (€5), or an audio briefing of your week's sources (€3). The offer

The first 50 consulting firms that subscribed to Practice paid €25 per seat per month (€19 if billed annually). For as long as the subscription stayed active. No expiry, no annual review, no upgrade tax.

The standard Practice rate was €35 / €26. The Founding rate was a 30 % structural discount, locked at signup.

Why we're doing it

Pith Lab is a new product. There are no logos on our pricing page, no Gartner mention, no in-network references for the prospect to triangulate trust against. In that situation, a rational consulting firm waits. They wait until someone they know has used the product. They wait until there's a case study. They wait six to twelve months. We don't have six to twelve months of runway to wait for the wait.

So we're trading something we have (future ARPU) for something we need (first reference customers). Fifty firms is enough — enough that the 51st prospect can read „these 50 consulting firms already trust Pith Lab" and stop waiting.

What we're not doing

This isn't a flash sale. It isn't a six-month introductory rate that quietly resets. It isn't a coupon code that we'll cancel when convenient. The Founding Practice rate is implemented as a separate Stripe Price ID, permanently attached to your subscription. Coupons can be revoked. A Price ID, once subscribed, holds.

It also isn't a starter tier with feature gating. Founding Practice has the same features as standard Practice — per-client briefings, audit log, member invites, MCP access, the works. The only difference is the price.

The fine print

• 50 firms total, worldwide. A live counter at /pricing showed how many slots remained at any moment.
• Lifetime as long as the subscription stayed active. Cancellation forfeited the lock; re-subscribing meant the standard rate.
• The cap was set to close at 50 or end of 2026, whichever came first. We weren't planning to extend it.
• The 30-day money-back guarantee applied.

Where this stands now
